Noe Ponti, of Switzerland, and Olympic backstroke queen Kaylee McKeown, of Australia, set a World Cup record apiece as the 2024 short-course series got underway in Shanghai today.
There were also impressive performances from Britain's Duncan Scott in the 400m freestyle and the USA's Olympic champion Kate Douglas in the 200m breaststroke.
