Friday, March 14

The International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed an appeal against suspension by Hungarian butterfly swimmer Tamas Kenderesi, 28, and confirmed he must serve the four-year ban imposed by his country's anti-doping agency.

CAS released its report today - in full - , confirming:

The decision was published today after previous delays in the process. The judging panel includes of James Drake, Great Britain, Péter Pákay, Hungary, and Ulrich Haas, Germany, backed the original decision of HUNADO to ban the swimmer for four years after events in 2022, when the results of a blood test were compared to previous tests in 2017 as part of blood-passport checks for consistency - or not.
