Quadarella, Razetti & Relay Make It A 5-Golds Bull Run For Italy On Last day In Lublin
Italy top the medals with 11 golds at the European short-course championships after adding five more titles in the curtain-closer, courtesy of Sara Curtis, Simone Cerasuolo, Simona Quadarella, Alberto Razzetti and a men's 4x50 medley quartet including Cerasuolo
After victories for Sara Curtis and Simone Cerasuolo in dash events, Simona Quadarella claimed her first European short-course gold in the 1500m freestyle before Alberto Razzetti retained the 200 'fly title to take Italy's tally of gold to four in the championship curtain-closer in Lublin this evening.
In the last final of the six-day competition, a 1:30.49 victory in the men's 4x50m medley made it five golds on the day for the Italians, courtesy of Francesco Lazzari, Cerasuolo, celebrating his second gold in the session, Simone Stefani and Leonardo Deplano.

For Quadarella, who includes Olympic, World long- and short-course, European l/c and s/c honours to her name from 400 to 1500m, victory marked her first gold in the 1500m in the Euro little pool and followed silvers behind Germany's Isabel Gose in the 400m and 800m this week.
