Lani Pallister has handed her Olympic 400m freestyle ticket to teenage reigning junior world championJamie Perkins to focus on her big podium chances in the 800m and 1500m at the Paris Olympics from July 27.
Pallister's move has not been officially confirmed by Swimming Australia but World Aquatics lists the move along with other entries and sources have told News Corp's Julian Linden that Perkins will join her teammate and defending champion Ariarne Titmus in the 400m freestyle battle with the rest off the sub-4min club, Katie Ledecky (USA), Summer McIntosh (CAN) and Erika Fairweather (NZL).
