Harris Completes Dolphins Dash Dominance On Free; 4th Crown To Meilutyte & 1st for Kolesnikov
In 24.02, Meg Harris makes it two freestyle dash titles in Singapore for Australia, with Cam McEvoy; Ruta Meilutyte's dominant 29.55 on breaststroke marks her 4th win in as many covid-contract-crunch years; and Kliment Kolesnikov takes his first long-course crown on backstroke
Meg Harris delivered dash dominance for the Dolphins in the opening 50m finals on the last day of action at the 22nd World Championships in Singapore, which saw Ruta Meiluyte claim a record fourth breaststroke crown and Kliment Kolesnikov his first.
Harris, the Olympic silver medallist in Paris last year, followed Australia teammate Cameron McEvoy's win in the men's race yesterday with a 24.02 victory ahead of a China 2-3:

Harris stared up at the board with the look now someone slightly startled by the '1' next to her name.
"Stoked," she said. "Like, there’s not much more I could say, like I achieved the dream that I’ve been dreaming of this whole time. Like this is why I swim, also for the enjoyment, but it is nice winning."
