The French Open Championships in Le Mans next month will mark the 'probable' return to competition of Tokyo2020one Olympic 400m freestyle champion Ahmed Ayoub Hafnaoui, Tunisian media suggests today.

For probable, read "highly unlikely": the swimmer accepted a provisional suspension last December, while inquiries are conducted into missed out-of-competition tests. That suspension remains in place, World Aquatics, on word from the Aquatics Integrity Unit, has confirmed to SOS.
